In regards to your friendly reminder that Namine was the only person to try and give Roxas a straight answer when he asked questions? I disagree. When Riku asked Namine in 358/2 Days what can she do about taking the memories from Xion and putting them back into Sora, her answer was VERY straight forward. "Unfortunately, the only real solution... is for them both to go away..." That was her answer to Riku. She was very precise and clear on each of his questions. Sorry, but it wasn't just Roxas.

I’m pretty sure the reminder is talking about Roxas asking questions and getting the run-around, not Namine being vague. Honestly, Namine seems like a fairly honest and blunt person, considering how readily she comes clean about things in Chain of Memories.

Actually, it seems like Namine might not have been able to stand seeing Roxas lied to like he was and went to fix it.

I think in the novels Kairi remembers something about Axel having helped her out a lot before, but at the same time she cant really remember ever meeting him before. I think it might be likely something like what happened when Namine was messing with Sora's memories happened with Kairi and so no one from Radiant Garden remembers her.

Well she was 4 at the time when she left her homeworld so I would be very very surprised if she had anything beyond maybe a vague memory of her grandmother.

Kind of wonder if Sora mentioned to her what he read in the Ansem report 11. I mean it’s kind of vague and Sora’s not the brightest….okay I guess it’s debatable whether Sora himself knew who the girl was in the report.

As for everyone else’s memory….has Kairi been to Radiant Garden for any lengthy period of time beyond her first 4 years of life. And I mean Radiant Garden not Hollow Bastion. I don’t think she has, for all we know they could remember her but only in a “there used to be a cute little girl who ran around her back in this places heyday” kind of way. Like they would remember her if they saw her but it’s unlikely they would bring her up in conversation in a really descriptive way.

But I guess there’s Leon, Cid, Yuffie, Tifa, Cloud and Aerith however everyone except Cid was fairly young at the time Radiant Garden fell into darkness so…

Heh, guess we’ll just have to see if it comes up in Kingdom Hearts III.

Edit: Feel free to reblog with your own opinion if you have one. I wouldn’t mind hearing them considering I don’t really have an opinion on this.

It's actually possible lea and kairi are related they came from the same town and it was never disproved there are actually quite a few people from radiant garden that could be connected through blood that we don't know about
cielthecatoverlord

I guess it’s possible but I think it’s unlikely unless it’s like a very distant blood link. Mostly because if they were cousins or something I would think Axel would have said something by now.

Actually thinking about it, all the people in Radiant Garden being related on some level would make sense considering the world is rather isolated and from what we can tell small.

I’m not insulating inbreeding or anything like that, I’m simply saying that people usually procreate with people in the nearby vicinity and if you have that happening in a place where not a lot of new blood is coming in chances are pretty darn good that people are going to be sharing ancestors.

I mean heck, technically every single one of us shares a common ancestor in the first being that by classification standards could be called homo sapien.

Meristation Interviews Tai Yasue: No European Dub for 2.5, Possibilities for Frozen in KH3

Meristation, a popular Spanish gaming website, had the opportunity to interview Co-Director Tai Yasue at Gamescom 2014. Together, they discussed the unfortunate lack of European voiceover for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX, bringing the series to next-generation consoles, and possibilities for Kingdom Hearts 3.

Yasue was asked about European voiceover for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix several months ago at E3 2014 but was unable to delve into the matter at the time. However, he confirmed to Meristation that HD 2.5 ReMIX will not be including any of the European dub, such as Spanish, French or German (Square Enix Germany have commented on this, which you can read here).

Why wouldn't Aqua change appearance-wise?

khfriendlyreminders:

From what we can tell from the given canon and based on popularized fan-theory, time doesn’t flow at all or flows very, very slowly in the Realm of Darkness. Aqua hasn’t seemed to have aged by the time of “Blank Points”, which happens post KH2. She even mentions that it simply feels like she’s been walking for a long time, not for days or months or years. There’s no real way for her to tell time there but I think she would’ve noticed years pass had time passed normally.

I also think it’s mentioned that Ansem the Wise was in the RoD for a long time and didn’t really age (he changed because of the Darkness, I think).

Dragon’s Answer:

The short answer is basically she’s past puberty and any mild physical changes that would happen on a real life person during that period of post puberty to mid/late 20s (there aren’t really any big physical changes during that period, only big mental ones, this is of course ignoring things like changing hair style or whether you wear glasses or contacts or how you wear make-up etc.) are negated by the fact that all original Kingdom Hearts characters are young and pretty looking unless there is a reason for them not to be (Ex: Eraqus and Ansem the Wise are not young looking because they fit into the wise old man archetype).

Actually, weird thought….what if Aqua had to burn off/lob off her hair a few times to keep it from getting excessively long during her time in the dark realm.
